It's hard to believe during our worst World War II that enemy soldiers were brought to America to prisoner of war camps. We gave them Freedom that they cannot believe they saw parts of our nation that was unbelievable and went home with a better understanding of democracy. Many of them were taken to Washington DC and trained in running a republic. This could be one reason Germany is one of our few good allies
